Electrical R&D from battery evidence to field decisions.

Mohammad Rezwan Khan is an Electrical R&D Engineer working across battery systems and model-based validation. He was awarded a PhD in Energy Technology by Aalborg University, Denmark, for research on thermal management of battery systems for electric-vehicle and smart-grid applications.

Working perspective

Research depth is most useful when it improves an engineering decision.

My work began with battery measurement, thermal modeling and state estimation. It expanded into grid-connected storage, technical due diligence, FAT/SAT readiness, NCR traceability and the quality controls needed to move complex energy systems toward handover.

Personal engineering perspective

The question that has stayed with me.

How can an engineering decision be trusted when battery temperature, cell behavior, operating conditions, supplier interfaces, and project evidence keep changing? That question first shaped my measurement and modeling work. It later became the same question I asked of requirements, FAT/SAT records, NCR closure, and handover files.

I am most engaged when a team has enough technical depth to see the complexity, but still needs a reviewable path to the next decision. My role is to help make the assumptions visible, connect the evidence, and leave a record another engineer can challenge and continue.
